Without giving any prior notification or gaining any permission I held my own lecture inside the main gallery of Auckland’s most established art museum. Here I thought: rather than adhering to object-based & traditional forms of presentation within galleries and museums, artists could instead become an immediate agency of art by bringing new, fresh, interesting, exciting, unexpected and emotional things.
